Infrared Sauna Blanket

Spending a little time in a sauna before bed has helped me with sleep for a long while, but I was wanted to try something more convenient than a home sauna, since the heating time, etc, is inconvenient before bed.I was expecting this to be maybe a glorified electric blanket, since I haven't tried something like this before, and was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked (though it's not perfect).For starters, it's very easy to "set up" - there's no more setup required than an electric blanket. Unbox it, remove it from the included carry bag, undo the cord ties, and plug it in.Overall the quality seems okay. The zippers are sturdy and move well, the stitching seems strong and solid. I can't yet comment on the quality of the actual fabric and heating element, but if it has any early failures I'll update this review. I did notice the control box seems to be really lightweight plastic - I do wonder if it would survive a couple falls from the bed to the floor, as could easily happen.Using it is easy. I laid it out on the bed, unzipped one side about half way, got in, and zipped it up from the inside. I didn't use the arm slots, instead keeping one arm out for the phone, but they seemed easy enough to use. As long as the main zipper is about halfway up (within reach), I don't think there's any difficulty getting and and out on your own.It gets surprisingly (and very) hot. It claims a maximum heat level of 167 F, both in the description and on the thermostat. I don't, to be honest, know what that could be measuring. There's very little "free air" inside a blanket, so I don't think it's reasonable to say it's surrounding you in 167 degree air. And if it were, you certainly aren't spending 30 minutes in it.Overall, though, it gets quite warm, quite quickly - so warm, in fact that I did notice a few hotspots inside that, at the highest setting, were borderline uncomfortable to stay in contact with.But, dialled back a bit, or with a towel to distribute heat, that was no longer an issue.

I have to say that I love this sauna because I like the full size and the steam. It’s like a little retreat. It heats up fairly quickly and the window is easy to have open when you’re in there so you don’t get claustrophobic. The big disappointing part is it doesn’t really fit well over the structure meaning the fabric so I had to kind of rearrange the pieces hard to explain and now it is sort of permanently zipped on the bottom and you just never go past that point with the zipper, so yeah, not Extremely durable. I would say however it is functioning just fine, but that is definitely why I took a star away because I wouldn’t want to re-order this particular one just because of that if that was fixed, I would definitely re-order for a friend. It also has a cool little place in the water heater where you can put herbs or essential oils or whatever however it’s plastic so I don’t know that that’s the best thing to be heating.

This sauna blanket is well made from quality materials. It appears durable and rugged. The blanket heats up quickly to the desired temperture, and remains there for the selected time. I wish the timer emitted some type of sound when the time has expired. The user is left to keep track of the time themself. Also the zippers need to be more substantial. Otherwise, it is a great heating blanket that works on the entire body at the same time. The item is as described by the seller. I am pleased with this product and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this product!!

I wanted to start regular at-home sauna therapy to help improve my sleep and increase circulation while reducing inflammation. The blanket was surprisingly easy to set up and heated up quickly, with a range of temperatures you can adjust as needed. I typically use it at around 140–150°F (it can go as high as 167F) for 20 minutes (max 60 mins) as I work my way up to longer sessions. The warm-up takes about 5 minutes, which counts toward your total session time, so keep that in mind.The double-sided zippers allow you to secure yourself inside without assistance - but if you have someone handy get them to help - and lets you scroll on the phone or read while using it. The blanket folds away easily for storage, although it’s a bit bulky so if you have a dedicated spot, you may be tempted to just leave it there.After several uses, I’ve noticed it’s helping me relax and sleep better. It’s affordable compared to other infrared sauna blankets on the market and seems to offer the same benefits. I’m happy with it so far and will continue using it to see if there are any long-term improvements.

This is a fairly good sauna.It took me about 30 minutes to fully assemble it so that I feel like it's sealed well enough. There is a secondary fan/heater that you have outside of the fabric box that takes about 10 minutes to heat up the sauna. You definitely should use a sauna hat if you want to get the highest amount of sauna time. Look it up!The mat that comes with it is only really good to put underneath the sauna. I find it a little rough for my bare feet.This item is a recommend!
